Soyun Kim is a climate activist with academic backgrounds in education and economics.
In South Korea, she implements climate change education programs for children and youth and creates civic platforms such as the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY Korea), enabling young people to participate as key stakeholders in climate action and policy dialogue.
Internationally, she engages in advocacy at the UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties (COP) as a Korean GPE (Global Partnership for Education) youth leader, emphasizing the role of education in the climate crisis and promoting increased investment in education for low-income countries.
김소윤 활동가는 교육학과 경제학을 바탕으로, 기후정의의 관점에서 미래세대의 기후위기 대응 역량 강화를 위해 활동하고 있다.
국내에서는 아동 및 청년을 대상으로 기후변화교육 프로그램을 운영하며, LCOY Korea(Local Conference of Youth Korea)를 통해 청년들이 기후정책 의사결정 과정의 주체로 참여하고 목소리를 낼 수 있는 공론장을 조성하고 있다.
또한 국제적으로는 유엔기후변화협약 당사국총회(UNFCCC COP)에서 GPE(Global Partnership for Education) 한국 청년대표로 활동하며, 기후위기 대응에 있어 교육의 변혁적 역할을 강조하고 저소득 및 취약 국가에 대한 교육 투자 확대를 촉구하는 에드보커시 활동을 펼치고 있다.

Seoyun Kim majored in Scandinavian Studies and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Ecology at Lund University, Sweden. Grounded in her understanding of Nordic societies and international climate governance, she works at the intersection of research and action to advance climate justice.
For the past three years, she has built partnerships with civil society organizations in Madagascar, focusing on the SAVA region in the northeast. Her work connects research on climate vulnerability and disaster impacts with practice-based climate education programs that empower local communities.
Building on her experience as a Korean Youth Delegate to COP29 and COP30, Seoyun has led international partnerships as Head of External Relations for LCOY Korea 2025, collaborating with LCOY Germany, Madagascar, Brazil, and Syria. Leveraging a strong global youth network, she leads international cooperation and cross-border initiatives at Coolimate.
김서윤 활동가는 스칸디나비아어학을 전공하고, 현재 스웨덴 룬드대학교(Lund University)에서 인간생태학 석사과정을 밟고 있다. 북유럽 사회와 국제기후협약에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 기후정의 실현을 위한 연구와 현장 중심의 기후행동을 이어오고 있다.
지난 3년간 마다가스카르 시민단체들과 파트너십을 구축하며 북동부 사바(SAVA) 지역을 중심으로 활동해왔으며, 지역사회의 기후재해 취약성에 대한 연구부터 기후교육 프로그램 개발 및 실행까지 연구와 실천을 연결하는 프로젝트를 수행하고 있다.
또한 COP29와 COP30 한국 청년대표단으로 참여했으며, LCOY Korea에서는 대외협력팀장을 맡아 독일, 마다가스카르, 브라질, 시리아 등 다양한 국가와의 협력을 이끌어냈다. 이와 같이 글로벌 청년 네트워크를 기반으로 쿨라이밋에서 국제 협력사업을 이끌어 나가고 있다.
